The Series 581 M16 DIN EN 61076-2-106 connectors are a cost-effective alternative to the Series 423 DIN connectors if watertight capabilities are not needed. Cable connectors have integral bend protection sleeve and metal shell. A cable clamp or a solder lug is used for easy shielding or ground connection and provides good EMI shielding. Contacts are gold-plated and range from 2 to 24 per connector. Operating current is 7A to 1A, depending on the number of contacts per connector. Cable connector can be mounted on cables with 4-6mm or 6-8mm OD.
